With an eye on the future a new Music Studies Center is currently under construction at Sequoia Middle. The new 8,400 square foot Music Studies Center will enhance the McLaughlin Performing Arts building. The award winning music programs within the Redding School District is getting an upgrade. The overall project also includes a remodeling of 12 classrooms and a new administrative building at the front. This is partially funded by the Districts General Obligation Bond passed by voters in 2018.
